Empathy map
The goal of an Empathy Map is to be able to understand the needs and desires of your customers so that you may improve your products and services. I used an Empathy Map during the design thinking assignment. I was able to use the map to come up with questions that I could ask during my interview with my partner pertaining to the object phone. The Empathy Map was very helpful in helping me to think of different aspects of a phone that I could talk about.

30 CIRCLES30 Circles is an exercise created by David Kelley's mentor, Bob McKim. This exercise was design to get you thinking but with a time constraint. The objective is to fill as many circles as you can with different objects and ideas as you can think in 3 minutes. It was both challenging and fun. It was a challenge to think of 30 different things to draw and a challenge to fill the circles in 3 minutes. I decided to do this activity and see what I could come up with. The first time that I completed this activity I found myself drawing all of the things that I like, music, photograph, computers, and clothing. The second time that I did this activity I decided to draw logo ideas for my business that I plan to start in the summer.

MIND MAP
The idea of the Mind Map is to start with a main idea then create smaller ideas based up the bigger idea. Mind Maps help to further think about and expand an idea into smaller details. I experimented with using a Mind Map. I used it to help me think about ideas for a name for the company I am starting in the summer. One of the hardest things for me to do is to be able to create a name. First, I started with common names such as combing part of my name with my friends name, in order to create a company then I thought about words that have meaning to me, until I was finally able to create a name. The Mind Map was helpful because it provided me with a visual idea of names that I had came up with and help me to choose between names that I like and did not like.
