When I decided to take this class I did not know what to expect. I was intrigued by the name of the course, "How Do Innovator's Think." I mainly became intrigued by the word, "Innovator." When I think of an Innovator I automatically think of Steve Jobs. I also think of an innovator as someone who has a gift to create out of the ordinary products and have them resonate with a wide variety audience. I also thought that this class would be your typical business class that discusses a business model and stock and bonds, etc. However, as we became more in-depth in the class I became more intrigued. At the start of the class, I would say that I did not think of myself as an innovator, nor did I think that I had a shot a being able to be innovative. I thought that innovation was something that you either have or you don't. However, as the semester progressed I began to realize that being an innovator is something that everyone has the possibility of being. It is essentially a set of skills that we use in everyday life. I also learned that a great product is not always just created by itself, but rather great products come together from ideas that already exist. I learned the importance of thinking outside the box and stepping outside of my comfort zone.
